  Drawing, painting, ceramics, digital art, sculpting, photography, and many other mediums are ways that I like to express my passion for creativity and imagination.  I enjoy telling a story with my artwork which is why I studied illustration at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Becoming a visual artist has inspired me to impact others in a positive way through my artwork.  I respect all forms of art, because art is a language everyone around the world can understand and use to communicate their emotions and history with others.  After graduating I decided to create artwork that makes excites me and to further my knowledge of the arts by becoming an elementary art teacher.  A teaching-artist is a teacher who is also a practicing artist.  I believe this combination is a great balance for me, because I have only become a better artist by teaching others.  Along the way I have learned more about myself through the arts and I am still learning...
